Resumo
This work aims to present a board game, called Ritmomachia, as a pedagogical tool to be used by mathematics teachers to facilitate the process of teaching and learning mathematical content. It is important to highlight that this game, Ritmomachia, directly works on the four operations, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, essential in any phase of student learning. The purpose of this work is to create scenarios where students can, in addition to learning mathematics in a fun way, be encouraged, through the challenges provided by the game, to take an active stance in their learning process. Ritmomachia is a very rich game in terms of the amount of mathematical content that can be covered. In this dissertation, we will focus on presenting its use for teaching Progressions in High School.
