Resumo
This study joins social anthropology and studies on black populations in Brazil. The research was conducted in Museu Capixaba do Negro, located in Vitória (ES) and aims to investigate the construction of identities and dark memories, especially the conflicts resulting from this process. To this end, interviews were conducted with direct attached social workers and indirectly Museu Capixaba do Negro and analyzed primary and secondary sources. The results describe the production of political conditions and reproduction of memories and black identities.
