O despertar da presença: a tensão epistemológica na filosofia da história de Gumbrecht

Abstract

This research investigates the work of Hans-Ulrich Gumbrecht and tries to produce thereafter, an intellectual biography of the author. From then I propose an interpretation of the place that Gumbrecht occupies on the humanities currently, then I show their influences and productions of original concepts, such as presence and stimmung. I also emphasize the theoretical possibilities that his work offers to work as a reflection of the historian in the field of philosophy of history, in addition to verifying the nature of the epistemological tension also present in the works of Gumbrecht. Finally I try to sketch an archeology of its unique understanding of postmodern temporality.
