Entre o niilismo e a utopia: a dialética na poesia drummondiana

Abstract

This research had as objective to analyze the dialectic in the poetic work of the miner Carlos Drummond de Andrade, from the relation between the concepts of nihilism and utopia. The methodology was based on a partial selection of poems throughout the whole poetic production of the poet. The results demonstrated the recurrence of poems strongly marked by nihilistic and utopian characteristics in the works of the Drummond, thus ratifying the nihilistic / utopian dialectic throughout Drummondian poetry
