Resumo

Climate change poses global challenges to disaster management and urban planning. Brazil faces severe disasters due to the occupation of risk areas, which can cause significant socioeconomic losses and damage to the population. In recent years, both globally and nationally, there has been a growing need to prevent, monitor, and mitigate disasters resulting from natural threats or anthropogenic actions. This task is urgent and important for building "more resilient cities". In this context, the main objective of this research was to provide an interactive and collaborative data intelligence platform focused on geographic research on socio-environmental disasters, called Geodesastres – Interactive and Collaborative System for Monitoring Risk and Disaster Data. The methodological procedure involved three main stages, the first of which was based on the survey of bibliographies that address the theme of risk and disaster management, geotechnologies and Geospatial Big Data, machine learning techniques linked to the Google Earth Engine platform, the development of a Webmap application and participatory mapping. The results present a tool that innovates territorial management and places the researcher and the citizen as part of the data production process. The intention of this research is to serve as a tool to support actions and new studies on urban planning and the disaster management process.
