Abstract

In this thesis, we seek to put in question the ways of life of peripheral youths in the constitution of resistance forces in contemporary. Removing the notion of resistances from an opposite place in relation with power to think of it as creation and, therefore, in an increasingly intrinsic relationship with the forces of capture from the hegemonic power, we traveled between experiences woven among the productions that marginalize modes of life in the peripheral territories and the invention of possible stocks in the encounter with art. Therefore, we covenant to the tools of intervention-research and we were in touch, for a year, with a nongovernmental organization located in Grota do Surucucu, in Niterói / RJ, that works with art, more specifically music. Meeting these young people, members of the project, we were able to mix ourselves with what, in singularizations produced by them in their daily lives, in their stories and also in their encounter with the music, makes life pulse as potency to differ among the joints, often perverse, of biopower.
