Saberes tradicionais dos povos Guarani e Tupinikim do Espírito Santo : experiências na formação inicial e continuada de professores indígenas

Abstract

The collection brings together the results of final course papers from the Indigenous Intercultural Degree (Prolind/Ufes), developed between 2015 and 2022. Organized by Ozirlei Teresa Marcilino, Ana Paula Azevedo Moura Careta, and Circe Mary Silva da Silva Dynnikov, the work places indigenous agency and intellectual voices at the center of scientific production. Through an intercultural and multimodal pedagogical and methodological approach integrating text, photography, drawings, and songs, the book records and systematizes ancestral knowledge applied to the reality of the communities in Aracruz (ES). The chapters cover fundamental axes such as territoriality, indigenous school education, ethnomathematics, and traditional subsistence and cultural practices, including lunar cycles, blue crab fishing, samburá basketry, traditional Guarani architecture, and the agricultural management of cassava. The book stands as a powerful didactic resource aimed at strengthening ethnic identity and decolonizing the school curriculum.
