The main objective of the project is to investigate the possibilities of teaching mathematics through Unplugged Computing Tasks for students in the fourth year of Elementary School. We also seek to assess whether the use of tasks favored the development of children's Computational Thinking. Previous studies have shown that tasks that use computing (plugged in or Unplugged) favor teaching and learning, especially if they are inserted in the first years of Elementary School. However, to deepen the knowledge, we discuss the application of these tasks from the perspective of Papert and Wing. Data were analyzed from a qualitative perspective, based on Content Analysis by Laurence Bardin (2011). The results indicate that Unplugged Computing Tasks can be an option to insert in the educational process, specifically in the teaching of Mathematics. For this, the availability of materials and pedagogical support would be necessary. The tasks would bring a good result if they were inserted from the first year of elementary school, as teaching without machines would be more interesting and students would always be excited for different tasks.
