Técnicas para visualizar informação e extrair conhecimento de bases de informações: estudo de caso das produções dos professores do PPGI-UFES

Abstract

Visualization is a very important part of achieving real understanding of information and extracting relevant knowledge. Therefore, the technique to visualize the selected information must be compatible with the content that will be presented. The purpose of this dissertation is to present a Web system that integrates several visualization techniques, which are easy, fast, understandable, dynamic and adaptable, from the topics developed by the members of a research group in a period of time. These techniques are based mainly on the keywords and titles of the bibliographic publications, thus representing the evolution of the topics researched over time, among other things.
