Perturbações Tensoriais de Origem Quântica na Teoria de Brans-Dicke

Abstract

The cosmic inflation, which is the hypotheses that the early Universe has passed by a period of exponential expansion, is currently the most accepted and studied theory to explain the early fluctuations which evolved to the large scales structures which we observe today. The gravitational waves, when detected, can give us important informations about inflation. In this work we study the Brans-Dicke theory and the gravitational waves produced by cosmological inflation in this theory and we obtain observational parameters as the spectral power, the spectral index and the relative density of energy.
