This study aimed to analyze the possible effects of caffeine on the performance of juvenile Nile Tilapia. 144 Nile Tilapia juveniles used with mass, total length and initial average height of 2.94 ± 0.16 g, 5.19 ± 0.14 cm and 1.49 ± 0.04 cm, respectively. The animals placed in 24 plastic boxes in water recirculation system, where each box contained 6 animals. It was used a completely randomized design with 6 treatments and 4 repetitions. The treatments were 0.0; 0.5; 1.0; 1.5; 2.0 and 2.5g of caffeine / 3kg of feed. The experiment lasted 40 days. The animals analyzed for the following variables: weight, total length, standard length, height, weight gain, protein efficiency ratio, feed intake, feed conversion, specific growth rate and survival. Caffeine added up to 1g/3kg (0,33g/Kg) of feed without causing negative impacts on the productive performance of Nile tilapia juveniles.
