Abstract

The research developed here to examine the contradictions Between the poles capitallabor policies on employment and income generation in the city of Victoria. Has meant to examine the consequences of programs conducted in the area of work, taken over by the Department of Work and Income Generation in the city to the world of work, given the current context of neoliberal capitalism and the historical trend of social policies. As such, this work will allow us to see if the trend of employment and income policies is to strengthen the working class through the expansion of their rights, the regulation of social work, or legitimize the capitalist order. Therefore, we'll go through the historical and social policies on the advancement of rights, considering the process of class struggle as central to this course. We report the characteristics of contemporary capitalism, the data in the area of the working world, and by conducting semi-structured interviews and reading of documents, we will examine in the light of critical theory, in a qualitative way, and all particulars relating to that perspective walks policies of employment and income in the city of Victoria.
