A criação de personagem em Niketche: uma história de poligamia

Abstract

We aim to analyze the female characters creation and the possible influences present in this process on the book Niketche: umahistória de poligamia (2002). As a theoretical framework on narratology and character creation process, we focus especially on A Personagem de ficção by Antonio Candido (1988), Pessoas de Livros. Sobre a personagem by Carlos Reis (2003) and Reading People, Reading Plots. Character, Progression, and the Interpretation of Narrative by James Phelan (1989), as well as in the notes by Kwame Anthony Appiah on A casa de meu pai: a África n afilosofia da cultura (2010) and Fábio Leite on A questão Ancestral (1987) on cultural relations of the various peoples from African continent.
