Leitura de artigos científicos : uma proposta metodológica para o ensino de química na educação básica

Resumo

This study addresses a process of reflection and construction developed on agents involved in the educational process (students and teachers), which constitute the diversity of the school environment, and the importance given to the teaching of chemistry, described by time and also on educational reform by Gustavo Capanema and Francisco Campos. Educational elements also include curricular organizations, assessments of knowledge presented by the students and the laws which they are based, namely the Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional – LDB. Thus, this research aims to find convergences among the participants of the educational process, communicating that the school environment, to build and develop a methodology in Chemistry teaching which could relate these agents for the construction of meaningful knowledge to the students. The completion of the study allowed us to analyze and evaluate the development of a methodology, through the "Reading Scientific Articles" as contributors in Chemistry teaching and learning process for students of final grades of high school. The research is exploratory and quantitative interpretive nature, guided by the action research assumptions. The descriptive data of this research were produced from questionnaires, descriptive activities, construction of conceptual maps, recordings audios, interviews and videolessons. The study involved 242 students from two public schools in the final years of high school in São Mateus-ES, during the period between 2014 to 2015. The main contribution of this work is to reflect on the pedagogical practices developed in schools and propose, in Reading Scientific Articles, a methodology that (re) means, in particular the teaching of chemistry. In view of the students, the proposal brings the chemistry knowledge significantly, with an acceptance of 95%, helping to identify the reproduction of knowledge of this subject.
