In the state of Espírito Santo, about 14% of the population is in the Itapemirim river, where the economy is based on mining of ornamental basin. The conflicts relate tothe preservation of water sources for obtaining drinking water. The aim of this studywas to regionalize the minimum flows with seven days duration and return period often years (Q7,10), minimum flows with dwell time of 90 and 95% of the time (Q90 andQ95), average flow rates of long duration and peak flows with return periods of 10, 20,50 and 100 years for the river basin Itapemirim, ES. Five methods of regionalization flows represented by the following methods were evaluated: a) Traditional; b) LinearInterpolation; c) proposed by Chaves et al. (2002); d) Modified Linear Interpolation;and e) Chaves et al. (2002) Modified. Were utilized in the study, historical inflowseries from eleven gauged stations of National Water Agency, covering the baseperiod from 1937 to 2012 to obtain the flow by Traditional Method, the river basinItapemirim was considered as a single region hydrologically homogeneous, we used multiple regression equations, whose independent variables and physical climate
