Resumo
This work demonstrates the importance of knowledge of geometry in space supported by the concepts of plane geometry in the construction of geometric solids and calculations in space. Parallelism in space and its properties will make it possible to transpose angles that will be of great value in constructions; the perpendicularity relations will be important for the calculation of distances and angles in space. In this way we will have good foundations of the subject and greater ease in the development of a vision and spatial intuition. The examples presented will demonstrate applications of these concepts in problem situations and will show how Spatial Geometry is present in the most varied everyday situations. It is also intended, with this work, to contribute to the training of educators in Geometry, providing them with a theoretical basis for the effective construction of geometric solids. In this way, it is expected to fill existing gaps in textbooks on the subject.
