Our research has as its theme the study of social minorities in the functioning of theological discourse, in the parable genre, based on the theoretical-methodological apparatus of French Discourse Analysis (DA), according to the enunciative-discursive perspective proposed by Dominique Maingueneau. For this purpose, we selected parables taken from the Gospel of Luke, which are conceived here as theological self constituting discourse. Understanding theological discourse as a self- and heteroconstituting discourse, that is, it functions as a foundation for itself and for several discourse genres in our society, we set our general objective: to examine the way in which social minorities interact in the functioning and constitution of theological discourse, in its parable discourse genre, materialized in the Gospel of Luke. In the analysis process, we seek to identify in the parable discourse genre the way in which the scenography and the discursive ethos organize the functioning of this self constituting discourse; to enumerate in the selected corpus linguistic-discursive strategies used by the enunciator to show values, such as forgiveness, gratitude and solidarity, which are part of human daily life and society; to verify the constituting role of the parable discourse genre, observing how the elements that characterize the theological give it authority and establish a pedagogical character. The results of our research indicate that the enunciator invests in the construction of scenographies, in which the presentation of social minorities is linguistically articulated in order to break paradigms of the time when these discourses were written and to establish concepts and values that are perpetuated in discursive memory of the theological field. As a device, the scenographies incorporate a linguistic code and themes related to the discursive communities that interact in the theological discourse. Such marks and mechanisms create situations in which the social elites of the time, represented by Jewish religious leaders, are disqualified in their behavior, while Samaritans and sinners are reassured of their social dignity through values such as forgiveness and love for others. Therefore, the study of the theological discourse in the parable genre bears linguistic-discursive relevance, since we highlight its constitution, its circulation and its social insertion.
