Resumo

This dissertation investigates the female eroticization in the dialogs between the illustrations from the series Venus and the Bird, by Milton Dacosta and the poems from the work The Natural Love, by Carlos Drummond de Andrade. For this, we guided on bibliographic research that explored different senses of the erotic in art and the trajectory of these two artists who marked the marked the Brazilian modernism. The research was developed in three chapters: “Aspects of eroticism in plasctic arts and modern literature”, “Imperfect angels and their erotic feelings” and “Eroticism in the female universe of Dacosta and Drummond”. In an interartistic approach, which brings together different artistic modalities (visual arts and Brazilian literature), it is expected, with this investigation, to contribute with new perspectives and readings about the works of these two artists, so significant for the national culture
