The civil construction sector is responsible for the generation of great volumes of solid wastes, that are proceeding from demolitions, constructions, reforms, earthwork, pavement, among others. These solid wastes, called Civil Construction Wastes and known in Brazil as entulho, when not managed adequately, they can affect the urban environmental quality significantly. However, the Civil Construction Wastes constituted by asphalt, concrete, mortar, ceramics, sand and gravel, when passed through improvement process, they demonstrate great potential for recycled aggregate production. The main objective of this paper was to get indicators of quality of the Civil Construction Wastes generated in the city of Vitória-ES managed and administrated by this municipality, called ENTUV-ES, looking for an evaluation of potential uses as recycled aggregate in the civil construction industry. In the gotten results, it was verified that 97.90% in weight of materials present in this solid waste can be reused or recycled. In the specific case of the potential evaluation of the solid wastes use as recycled aggregate, called AGRECV-ES, observed that 79.23% of the weight of the ENTUV-ES can have this destination. In classification according to NBR 10.004:2004, the AGRECV-ES was classified as Class IIA (not inert). In characterization according to NBR NM 248:2001 it was concluded that 52.61% in weight of materials present in the AGRECV-ES need to go through size reduction processes to be used as recycled aggregates.
