This research is inspired by the transatlantic crossings that took place from the 15th century onwards, when people were forcibly brought from Africa to the Americas. It understands colonization and diaspora as unfinished processes, in which there are reproductions of violence and devastation of natures-cultures, as well as re-existences and reinventions of life. This thesis-crossing seeks to accompany such processes and, therefore, is supported by concepts such as coloniality of power (QUIJANO, 2010), border as a hybrid place (ANZALDÚA, 1999) and border thinking produced in colonial difference (MIGNOLO, 2003). The study intends to problematize Latin American contexts and reflect on a border environmental education, based on narrative productions and cartography of knowledge with anti-racist movements. The theoretical-methodological bet consists of narrative research (TRISTÃO, 2013) and conversation networks (MATURANA, 2014), constituted through meetings such as workshops, mini-courses, conversation circles, etc. The narratives produced with the movements strengthen the composition of a border environmental education entangled in other-curricula, in knowledge and in different ancestral technologies. It is therefore considered that colonialism did not win and, concomitant with the projects of physical and symbolic erasure of black corporeality in the world, there is a collective refusal involving flows of ancestry and reinventions.
