The research implicates an experience produced by psychologists engaged with social-educational field. Being part of a Public Policy directed to law displaced teenagers, the socio-educational measures are part of the Children and Teenagers Brazilian statute based on the law article 112, law number 8069 promulgated in July, 13, 1990, contemplating proven infractions acts committed by a teenager – from 12 to 18 years old-. Historically, since the regulations for the underage (1927, 1979) until the National Socio-Educational System (Sinase), the psychology or psychologists has been required at the judicial institutions. Thus, from the minors- juridical category created on the law codes for underage- until the law displaced teenagers- juridical category created with Sinase-, the juridical institution have been involving the psychological knowledge in this subject. Considering this context, the dissertation intends to follow the subsequent questions: How functional is the Socio-Educational approach in the contemporaneity? Which direction the psychologists are taken in such context? What kind of effects those actions are producing in Socio-Educational policies? Following an orientation of "research with", there was an immersion in the daily work of psychologists using interviews and field notes seeking expressions of psychologists "self dramatic uses". As a result, in this called Socio-Education, among several tensions and punishments the psychologists could head in multiple directions: Producing evaluating reports juridically demanded to elucidate teenagers Socio Educational measures; Contributing with a live project construction for minors who’re able to break with the infractional acts; Providing support for minors and family in the resocialization. During the data evaluated in this research, besides the contribution of the evaluating reports, we found some singular strategies conducted by the psychologists to increase the effect of social-Educational measures facing a workable reality crossed by contractions and punishments. Therefore, basing the actions on the welcoming, attachment with the teenagers, strengthening the commentary/ family connections and building a career network integrated by Public Policies for the teenagers seeking to break the violent cycle of violations towards the law displaced minors, were found psychologists acting to assure that public rights
