Contribuição para inserção controlada de capacitores na distribuição secundária

Abstract

This work discusses a computation routine to select the poles in a distribution network in which the capacitor banks will be inserted or removed, in a discrete way, in order to control the secondary phase voltage. The approach to analyze each pole voltage for several loading conditions is discussed, as well as the voltage gains obtained with the discrete capacitor connections. It is also analyzed the sensitivity to voltage harmonics and load current. A MATLAB implementation is presented, with the analysis for some specific condition in order to validate the proposed routine. The results demonstrate the usefulness of the developed algorithm.
