Uma experiência com o software tabulae como auxílio no ensino de geometria

Resumo
The present paper introduces an experience conducted with students from the first grade of a public high school, using the software “Tabulae” as an additional resource in plane geometry teaching. “Tabulae” is a free software of dynamic geometry. We present didactic sequences that make it possible to students take their own conclusions about the mathematical properties of concepts involved through its constructions and manipulations so that they become active participants in the teaching-learning process. The contents covered are Similarity of Triangles, Homothetic Transformation, Area and Perimeter of Plane Figures. We also propose a question relating concepts of Function and Area. The activities presented here can be applied to students from the ninth series of elementary school.
