Filogenia e reclassificação de Pristocera Klug (Hymenoptera: Bethylidae)

Abstract

The current classification of Pristoceradoes not have taxonomic or cladisticsupport, which producedoubts in the allocation of their species, especially with the genera Dicrogenium, Kathepyris, NeodicrogeniumandDiepyris.This study aimed to verify the monophyly and to present a cladistic hypothesis for the genus. The analyses were based on 147characters of 50 terminal taxa. Parsimony analyses under equal weighting and implied weighting were performed. All cladograms obtained by implied weighting recovered Pristoceraas a polyphyletic. A monophyletic group with Pristoceraand other genera of the inner group is formed, supported by thirteen synapomorphies, one of them exclusive: presence of hypopygium divided into two parts. Dicrogenium, Kathepyris, Neodicrogeniume Diepyris will beproposed asjunior synonyms Pristocera, it will assemble 124 species, furthermore, redefined the concept of Pristocera
