A urbanização recente de Aracruz

Abstract

The study herein is an analyses of changes occurred in the city of Aracruz, placed at Espírito Santo State. Those changes are in major part linked to Industrial Development carried out since 1970 years. This work aims to discuss the urbanization as an unfinished process that shows a new spatial configuration in each historic period. To understand that process of spatial changes, the principle used is the study of housing construction for the customer market. A second purpose is identifying the producers and customers agents of those new spatial forms.
