In the first analysis, it was showed higher adhesion to feminine characteristics, high perception of quality of life and patterns of alcohol consumerism similar to the national averages. Men who declare active religious present an average significantly lower of alcohol consumerism. Present inverse correlation to the alcohol consumerism the female genre characteristics, the physical dominations, social, physiological and global perception of quality of life. In the evocation analysis, it showed that the elements with the tendency to centrality are, mostly, negative. The data of the general population presented the term taste as a positive and central aspect of alcoholic beverage. The abstinent group did not present a positive evaluation of the term and the group of consumers presented the term fun at the first periphery, referring to the positive and social aspects of the alcoholic beverages. The users demonstrated having certain awareness about the problems related to the alcohol consumerism. Despite the fact that the majority of the terms related to alcohol are negative, this consumerism is still in a considerable level. With that said, it is necessary a link between the professional and the healthcare user to give the opportunity in order to make the real practices about alcohol be evidenced. Those data can help family healthcare professionals to reflect about the social representations they create about low income class service users men.
