Relações de trabalho em uma universidade : atividade dos servidores técnico-administrativos da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo

Abstract

This work is an interventional research conducted with the technical and the administrative staff of the Federal University of Espirito Santo who work as administrative assistants. The research aims at analyzing the work from the point of view of the activity. The methodology was based on the theoretical and methodological framework of the Clinic of Activity, proposed by Yves Clot and his collaborators. Along the way, a photo workshop was used as a procedure for analyzing their working activity. As a reference for this research, authors that postulate the same theoretical and methodological approach were also used. Furthermore, studies of Brazilian researchers working on the theme in the fields of psychology, health, education, clinical work, among others were articulated here. The associated group was composed of 10 workers from different sectors of the University, and three of them were willing to shoot scenes from their daily work. Photos were chosen, confronted and analyzed by these group of workers. When they were faced with the work situations photographed, they promoted a fruitful debate, leading the group to think critically about the activities and work processes that they perform. The research indicates that workers seek to reinvent and develop other ways to cope with work situations and that challenge them to search different ways of working, which is based on their expanding power of action.
