Resumo
This paper proposes an analysis of the existing organizational climate at the Environment Control Management within the State Institute for the Environment and Water Resources - GCA / IEMA after a period characterized by numerous discussions about careers and salary increase plan. To support this analysis, a characterization of IEMA organizational culture with its own employees and an identification of relevant factors to the analysis of the organizational environment with employees of the sectors linked to the GCA / IEMA were carried out, which were subsidized on data obtained through questionnaires used as research tools. According to this study, the GCA is characterized by a networking culture and, as indicated by its employees, the basic needs are what motivate them the most and the factors related to these needs are primarily the ones responsible for the organizational environment in the company
