Resumo

A new proposal for regenerative electronic load testing is presented for experimentation of electronic power circuits. It must allow laboratory experimentation of electronic power circuits with minimal loss of energy; the amount of power provided by the equipment under test is almost totally returned to the mains, reducing the energy loss due to Joule effect, opposite to the use of resistors or conventional electronic loads. The characteristics of the test can be changed, subjecting the equipment to different operating conditions. The purpose of the CERE-CA prototype developed is only to confirm the theory and simulations results presented. This work doesn’t give emphasis to the quality of the energy returned to the mains, neither to the control of the flow of power from the mains. These and other relieves must be developed in future researches of power electronics.
