Comunicação interna na gestão pública de uma Instituição Federal de Ensino Superior: um diagnóstico da UFES campus São Mateus

Abstract

Understanding communication as a vital process for any institution to ensure and promote interaction with its various audiences, this study aims to carry out a diagnosis of internal communication at UFES - São Mateus campus. The interaction between people and institutions is essential to provide a good internal relationship and avoid possible conflicts, and for this to happen, effective internal communication is essential. Within this context, it is possible to raise the following question: How is the internal communication within the UFES - São Mateus campus? In this study, in relation to the purposes, we can classify the research as descriptive and exploratory. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, different types of research were used in the preparation of the study: bibliographical, documental and action research. The proposed study was structured within a methodology with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The qualitative approach will be used as support for the theoretical and conceptual development, with application in the treatment of the information collected in the bibliographical and documental analyzes and with the action research. And the quantitative approach will be used to measure the results of the questionnaire that will be applied in the research. After analyzing the results obtained from the study carried out, we found that internal communication in the institution, despite having positive aspects, requires some actions to improve the internal communication process. These actions will be proposed in an internal communication action plan that will be introduced as a technical product resulting from this study.
