The sexuality is a constitutive and a fundamental part of the human being and it goes beyond the simple issue of reproduction and pleasurable activities that depend solely on the genital tract. The sexuality is present in humans from a very young age and it is a key factor in the development and psychic constitution of the individual. The child, very early, expresses curiosities related to sexuality, dedicating yourself to sexual observations and investigations. The central focus of this research was to investigate and to analyze conceptions about sexuality by teachers of one early childhood institution, as well as the understanding that they have about children's sexuality demonstrations. The research is supported by the Freudian psychoanalysis theory. It is a case research of qualitative nature. It is involving teachers who is working in early childhood education in a Municipal Early Childhood Center (CEIM) located in São Mateus - Espírito Santo. Data were collected through interviews. For data analysis, beyond the Freudian theory, uses discourse analysis. The research shows that the topic sexuality creates discomfort and it is not easily accepted by the teachers when to deal with children's education because the teachers still do not differentiate the infantile sexuality from adult sexuality, which refers to the genitals. The teachers do not conceive sexuality as an integral part of children's development. So, the first child is not considered as time to sexuality by the teachers.
