Ova completa (2019) was the last book written by argentine Susana Thénon. The autor, recently translated by the Brazilian poet Angélica Freitas, is contemporary with the generation of the 60s, although she wasn‘t among the most studied poets of her time, she constantly challenges the canonical construction in literature, assuming a transgressive and provocative language. This work will unfold on the desacralization of the canon in the literature written by contemporary women, under the analysis of the first seven poems of Ova completa, contemplating, however, the entirety of Thénon's ova/work. Therefore, we use images that recall the idea of ―ova‖, such as Franklin Fernández‘s visual poem, Naturaleza Muerta, and the one proposed by Virginia Woolf in her essay O sol e o peixe (2015). In this research process, it was noted the need for a more imposing and active positioning of criticism written by women about women who write, as mentioned by Eurídice Figueiredo (2019), not only for the sake of historical reparation, removing marginalized poets from the ―ghetto‖ , but with the aim of consolidating and rebuilding a poetic tradition founded on the margins. The concept of ―anti-poetry‖ in the work of Nicanor Parra (1998) and of canon according to Roberto Reis (1992) and Harold Bloom (2002) will also support this research.
