Between lines and folds, between stories and conversations, this work is knitted upon the construction of the first voice-hearing group of Espírito Santo, in the city of Cariacica. The group is born amidst the problems that involve the de-institutionalization process of mental health care and, foremost, starting from the voice-hearing movement’s proposal to discuss voice-hearing as an experience and not necessarily as a psychopathological symptom. In this work, we sought to discuss the ways that caring expresses itself in a voice-hearing group, narrating situations, stories, and perceptions starting from a cartographical posture. In this voice collective, subjects and voice-hearing moves away from the deep-seated terrain of the dualistic perception of “good and evil”, forming other meanings for these multiple experiences. In a space of mutual sharing, the single voice transforms into polyphony, and caring transforms itself into conditions that expand possibilities of a potent and inventive life
