Resumo

Inlet velocity flow on micro heat exchangers are directly associated to guarantee the correct cooling for photovoltaic cells. This work estimates state and parameter for a micro heat exchanger for a single micro channel by inverse problem analysis. It is employed Finite Volume Method (FVM) for direct problem solution by ANSYS Fluent® 16.0, chosen due to its relative simplicity, friendly usage and high reliability. The Bayesian Filters known as Particle Filters (PF) are widely applied to state and parameter estimation on inverse problems in view of robustness for nonlinear inverse problems. Therefore, SIR and ASIR Particle Filters are used for inverse solution problem with Python programming language. It is accomplished by ANSYS Fluent and Python coupling. Three different inlet velocity profiles were studied: constant, step and ramp-like changes. The results show satisfactory estimation for both filters, however for ASIR filter it is necessary less particles to obtain good result when comparing to SIR filter. Also, the study allow concluding that ANSYS Fluent and Python coupling seems promising to problems of more complex geometries and problems.
