Resumo

In recent years, the way of teaching science / physics has been through a continuous and slow process of modification that has focused on a more contextualized teaching in which the concepts taught in the classroom can bring analyzes of everyday situations, thus enabling , to the student to understand in the light of physics what is happening in their daily life. Concomitantly with this process, we have the inclusion of students with disabilities in the classroom that is also a relatively new reality and that needs to advance a lot, even more when we approach the teaching of physics. We have verified a good amount of publications that discuss the teaching of physics, however a shortage of works on the question of physics teaching for the deaf considering that the deaf student has the official language (first language) as Pounds. This work stems from the need to transmit the basic concepts of physics to deaf students, in a specific and effective way, to do a didactic proposal together with two interpreters of LIBRAS of introductory wave contents with emphasis on sound wave for deaf students and listeners inserted in a regular classroom. The proposal was applied to a group of 06 listening students and 01 auna deaf in the auditorium of the Postgraduate Program in Basic Education Teaching (PPGEEB) in the University Center of Espírito Santo (CEUNES). Diagnostic test, video analysis, conceptual class and experimental part. We used a qualitative approach to evaluate if the material elaborated was potentially significant following the criteria proposed by David Ausubel
