As inserções narrativas como estratégia argumentativa em editoriais de A Gazeta

Abstract

The focus of the research is to analyze the parts of Narratives, more specifically the mininarratives as argumentative strategy in editorials of A Gazeta press journals, with great circulation in the state of Espírito Santo. In order to evidence the process that makes possible the supported hypothesis, the study is underlain in the presuppositions of the Argumentation Theory, according to Perelman & OlbrechtsTyteca (1996) and Ingedore Koch (1984), and of the Pragmatics, according to Relevance Theory, by Sperber & Wilson (2001), having as support, then, inside and outside text contexts. In order to identify the insertion narratives, we underlay specially in Labov (1972). And, as the basis of analyze is the editorial of press journal, we also use Beltrão´s researches (1980) and Melo´s (1985) to journalistic gender sustentation. Analyze pass by, then, journalistic, narrative and argumentative ambit. The corpus of the research is composed by five editorials published in A Gazeta press journal between June and December of 2008. From the theoretical basis and proposed analyzes, it’s observed that the narratives insertions are an argumentative strategy on the editorial textual gender because they act as context, credibility and polyphonic authority argumentation instrument.
