Avaliação da margem de solvência de uma operadora de plano de saúde

Abstract

The health insurance market has grown in recent years, before this growth the state has created a regulatory agency, the ANS, with the goal of establishing standards of performance monitoring and metrics of the activities of operators, one of monitoring items and the financial health of companies. ANS has established that operators should provide a margin of minimum solvency to year 2022. So this research seek to measure the risk of an operator in not meet the target set by the NSA, through the application of Monte Carlo simulation projection of financial statements and analysis of sensitivity to and evaluate the influence of certain variable in relation to the solvency margin. The results showed that the operator at risk not meet the goal of ANS 77%.
