Abstract

This work presents a refined approach of partially prestressed flat slabs with unbounded monostrand post-tensioned, the work develops analysis methods that include solutions for the treatment of fluency, for the punching shear, for the cable distribution, and, in addition, for the overall behavior of the structure and local behavior of the slab, by means of an iterative process and refined analysis aligned with the concepts recommended by the Brazilian Standard NBR 6118:2003, and discussions of some points which could be more flexible, as the spacing of the cables in slabs. Taking as premise a more accurate study, which aims to replicate in practice the idealized model, both in theoretical and experimental aspects.
