O beijo no campo : futebol e literatura a partir de Nelson Rodrigues

Abstract

This dissertation deals with the relationship between the Brazilian Literature with a soccer theme, since the arrival of the sport in the country with a special attention to the chronicles of Nelson Rodrigues published in the books “ A pátria em chuteiras, À sombra das chuteiras imortais, e Fla-Flu; ...e as multidões despertaram!. The chronicles are commented from a close reading of its characteristics of literary art, to the authorial position of inferred in them - whose great merit is the examination of metaphysics of football - and the extra-literary issues recurrently addressed, especially those related to nationalism and alterity.
